Who We Are
Unite Kentucky is a diverse and open-minded statewide coalition of community leaders, organizers, and grassroots advocates seeking policy solutions that will build a better Commonwealth - from the mountains to the cities.
Purpose
Unite Kentucky moves past hyper-partisan politics that ignore local communities’ challenges and pragmatist, centrist solutions in favor of political gamesmanship that stokes division without solving problems. We advocate for commonsense, measurable policy solutions that have an immediate and positive impact on Commonwealth communities.
Unite Kentucky’s team of community organizers made a big impact in Jefferson County’s 2024 elections

ABOUT US
UNITE KENTUCKY
Unite Kentucky is a diverse and open-minded statewide coalition of community leaders, organizers, and grassroots activists advocating for policy solutions that will build a better Commonwealth from the mountains to the cities.
Our Mission
We strive to amplify the voices of communities across the Commonwealth and empower them to take meaningful action on legislation, issues, and elections so that our elected officials are held accountable and are focused on building a better future for Kentuckians from all walks of life.
Our Vision
A Kentucky where all citizens, regardless of background or geographic location, have access to the resources they need to thrive.
Kyle West
Executive Director
Kyle has nearly a decade of experience working on Democratic political campaigns and organizations in Kentucky and across the country. He began his career with Senator Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign before organizing for two Kentucky US Senate campaigns.
Kyle served as the Executive Director for former Louisville Democratic Party Chair Russell Lloyd from 2017 to 2019, a period during which the party saw record fundraising numbers, held volunteer and candidate training programs, focused heavily on voter registration, and orchestrated successful coordinated campaign Get Out The Vote efforts.
After a short reprieve from politics, in 2024, Kyle decided to dive headfirst back into his true passion for organizing Democrats and launched Unite Kentucky.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, with Minors in Communications, East Asian Studies & Film Studies. He lives in Audobon Park with his wife and two children.
