Our Mission
Unite Kentucky is an organization dedicated to promoting Democratic Party policies and political candidates. Our mission is to meet voters where they are, listen to their concerns and inform them how Democrats are working to make Kentucky a stronger, more prosperous commonwealth.
Our Platform
Unite Kentucky will harness the power of paid, professional political organizing to mobilize volunteers who are interested in moving the Democratic Party message to voters' front doors. Our objective is to build relationships with Democratic voters who have not been engaged or who feel disenfranchised by the Democratic party to get involved beyond elections and help move the Commonwealth forward by connecting the issues they care about with the legislators they elect. Our canvassing program alongside a paid communications plan will not only achieve outsized returns in elections but will also generate new segments of voters that we can return to the Democratic fold year after year.

Kyle West
Executive Director
Kyle has nearly a decade of experience working on Democratic political campaigns and organizations in Kentucky and across the country. He began his career with Senator Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign before organizing for two Kentucky US Senate campaigns.
Kyle served as the Executive Director for former Louisville Democratic Party Chair Russell Lloyd from 2017 to 2019, a period during which the party saw record fundraising numbers, held volunteer and candidate training programs, focused heavily on voter registration, and orchestrated successful coordinated campaign Get Out The Vote efforts.
After a short reprieve from politics, in 2024, Kyle decided to dive headfirst back into his true passion for organizing Democrats and launched Unite Kentucky.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, with Minors in Communications, East Asian Studies & Film Studies. He lives in Audobon Park with his wife and two children.

Sydney McClure - Organizing Director
Sydney comes to Unite Kentucky with 10+ years of corporate brand marketing experience and has volunteered on issues ranging from abortion access and immigration. She is eager to bring her business acumen and passion for politics to Unite Kentucky's organizing efforts.

AJ Hayth - Political Director
AJ is a former union organizer, a labor historian, and a Kentucky Colonel bringing her worker-centered approach to popular democracy and consensus-building to Unite Kentucky. She hopes to build a Commonwealth that works for all.

Joslin Britt
New to the political scene, Joslin Britt comes to Unite Kentucky with 20 years of direct sales and marketing experience. She has spent the past decade serving our community as a trusted licensed insurance agent, which has helped her gain wisdom, insight, and understanding of our common need to experience successful stewardship. Joslin brings an energy of empowerment, discernment, and brightness to her journey with Unite Kentucky.

Natasha Martinez
Natasha is a current senior political science major attending the University of Louisville. She comes to Unite Kentucky with prior experience in legislation and policy through state and local internships. Natasha enjoys the political push and momentum here in Louisville and is very excited to work alongside others who share a passion in politics and more specifically are passionate about the Democratic Party here in Kentucky.

Katie Willis - Communications Director
As a creative and driven political organizer, Katie brings her passion for storytelling and community-building from her musical theater background to the fight for social justice. With a degree from New York Conservatory and a love for the arts, Katie believes in the power of cultural expression to inspire and mobilize. Katie is excited to combine her artistic roots with her commitment to progressive values, using her skills to amplify marginalized voices and build a more just and equitable world. Through organizing, she aims to harmonize activism and artistry, creating a symphony of change.
